Welcome Home

This was my first day back home after a short trip north to cooler and cleaner climes, and yet I had really missed Utah. The air quality was still terrible—now characteristic of late summer because of wildfires—and I was still just so thrilled to be back. I stepped outside and was absolutely taken with this sky. I texted several friends telling them to check out the sky, and then headed to a nearby park to take these.

The day I'm writing this it is mid May and it is our first hot day, a chocolate and brain melting kind of day. (I am not very heat tolerant also I love not melted chocolate.) But, I'm looking forward to the summer. I think there are some good things coming.
