Across the wetlants and the lake the mountains catch the first morning light, above them the nearly full moon

I was visiting the lake often last year. Hmm, I'd like to go soon and sit and see what birds come by.

I found daybreak quite stunning on this morning, too. I still remember how the birds sang.

Look at that gap in the clouds right above the canyon! (That's Rock Canyon; the other big canyon to the right is Slate Canyon.) Isn't that fascinating? This is from sunset about two weeks earlier than these other photos.
